Welcome to the Dex Quick Start Guide! We’re so happy Dex is finally here — and even more so to share it with you. Whether you’ve already got a Dex, or are Dex-curious, this guide is here to help you get acquainted with our latest vibe or figure out if it’s right for you. All the information here is also in the handy dandy booklet that comes with every Dex!

What makes Dex unique?

Dex was designed with accessibility in mind. This compact wand features a non-vibrating handle that allows for extended use without transferring any sensation to your hands. This wand was specifically designed to minimize numbness while still delivering deep, rumbly vibrations through its agile motor.

Dex is a more compact version of a traditional wand vibrator, coming in at 4.6 oz, 6.6 inches tall and 1.9 inches in diameter at the head.

Powering on/off

Like all Unbound toys, Dex is turned on with a long press. Press the power button on the handle for 2-3 long seconds to turn Dex on. Do the same to turn Dex off.

Cycling through patterns

To cycle through Dex’s 4 speeds and 4 patterns, press the power button until you reach the desired strength or pattern. After you reach the last setting, Dex will cycle back to the first setting when you press the power button again.

Charging

Dex uses the Unbound Universal Charger. You can find Dex’s charging pins on the opposite side of the power button, near the bottom of the vibrator. The Unbound Universal Charger is magnetic, so once the charging pins are aliged, the charger will snap into place. The power button will begin to blink to indicate that it is charging.

Dex takes 2.5 hours to fully charge from an empty battery. A fully charged Dex will last up to 1.5 hours on the lowest setting and up to 60 minutes on the highest setting.

How to hold / use

Dex is an external vibrator and can be used anywhere on the body. Dex has a flexible head that allows you to target and apply more pressure to the desired area. Dex was designed to be used externally on the clit or vulva, but it’s a pretty decent body massager too!

Thanks to Dex’s non-vibrating handle and compact size, holding a wand vibrator has never been more comfortable. The non-vibrating handle ensures that the vibrations coming from the head of the vibrator don’t transfer to your hand, reducing the chances of numbness or fatigue.
